| Happy spring! First, we apologize for not contacting you at the first of the year regarding
membership renewals for 2007. It was simply overlooked. We hope you can continue your support by renewing your
membership. We invite you to cut the application form from the enclosed membership brochure and send it with your

| We were glad to see many of you at recent DTHS events, including the Vintage Ball Game last September; a talk about early telephone systems by Bev Gross in November; a holiday potluck at Lyla Davies’ home; a panel describing the role of rural farm women in January; and a power-point presentation about the history of Afton Alps in March. We hope you can attend these upcoming events: |

| Saturday, May 19, 1-5 p.m. "Antiques and Their Stories," at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 8435 St. Croix Trail S. Members of DTHS and residents of Denmark Township are invited to bring up to three antique items for appraisal by experts. Come to our own fun “road show.” |

| Tuesday, June 19, 6 p.m. Potluck picnic at Lyla Davies’ home, 7828 St. Croix Trail S. Bring a dish to share. |

| Tuesday, July 17, 7 p.m. Garden Party at the home of Bob and Mavis Voigt, 15418 110th Ave. S. Members and Friends are invited to this event and urged to bring a potential member with them. |

| Tuesday, August 21, 7 p.m. Meet at the Town Hall to plan the September Vintage Ball Game. |
| |
| Sunday, September 9, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Town Hall. The Denmark Demons Vintage Base Ball team faces the Washington County Historical Society’s Saint Croix Base Ball Club. Come root for the home team and enjoy refreshments and entertainment. |

| Tuesday, October 16, 7 p.m. “Ghostly Visits”. Pam Monno is recruiting people who have had paranormal experiences in Denmark Township for a panel of scary stories. Contact her at 651-436-1311. |
